Morrowward
A Minikin of Wheat, Shadow, and Turning Sky

Bound in alternating black and natural broomcorn, Morrowward carries the quiet tension between night and the coming light.
The contrast of shadow and wheat forms a deliberate pattern — dark framing pale, pale steady within dark. The handle is tightly wrapped in black cord, spiraled firm and controlled in the old manner of practical craft.
At its center rest the emblems of the turning sky — sun and crescent moon — accompanied by a dark moth, long regarded as a keeper of hidden light and a traveler between dusk and dawn. Small in form, deliberate in purpose — Morrowward keeps watch until morning.
Morrowward stands in that in-between hour.
Not wholly night.
Not yet day.
A ward for the crossing.
The black fibers absorb and guard.
The wheat tones steady and ground.
The moth moves toward what light remains.
